"Seen from the texas deck" which you see here--is a page dedicated to the photos sent to me by ferry fans.  I'll post photos as they come in each month...and for those kind people who often send quite a few photos, I'll spread yours out over the year--but please, keep them coming!  As always you can email me here.

Enjoy, and thank you everyone for all your fine photography!
Looking as if it were dropping in from another dimension, the Walla Walla sails through thick fog in this photo by Zack Heistand.
Photographer Brandon Swan captures the old and the new.  At left, the 1972 bulit Walla Walla and at right the 1998 built Wenatchee.  It is quite easy to see that the Wenatachee was based off the design for the  Walla Walla & Spokane.
Fog is a common--and much despised--malady for ferry captains on Puget Sound in the autumn.  Here Emory Lindgard captures the Chelan and Kittitas on the Mukilteo run as the fog was starting to lift.
Capturing the spectacular colors of sunrise, Mike Bonkowski caught the Coastal Celebration sailing past Mount Maxwell on Salt Spring Island.  This photo shows why British Columbia truly is one of most beautiful places on earth.
Away from his usual ferry photographic stomping grounds, Matt Masuoka snapped this photo of the Queen of Oak Bay departing Horseshoe Bay.  With a sheer cliff right next to the terminal and the mountains as a backdrop, the Horseshoe Bay is one of the most dramatic departure points for ferry travel in the Pacific Northwest.
