SHIPS of the CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILWAY

They were the beautiful coastal liners that plyed the waters of the  west coast.  Some of the most famous of these beautiful steamers sailed  the "triangle route" between Seattle, Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia.
Known as the "Princess ships" their names still resonate fondly:
Princess Elaine, Princess Joan, Princess Elizabeth, and the second Princess Marguerite, which was the last.
Sent off to the breakers, these magnificent ships are but a memory now, a reminder of a time when the most elegant mode of transportation in the Pacific Northwest was by steam.
